This class is appropriate for people with musculoskeletal pain such as neck or back pain. You’ll practice postures that bring awareness to different parts of your body while strengthening, releasing and lengthening muscles in the core and in the back. You will also learn breathing exercises to relax the muscles in the abdomen and lower back, along with a guided meditation to help you focus on the present moment and cultivate mindfulness. A yoga mat and other props will be provided.
Requirement: You must be able to get up and off the floor without assistance.
Attire: Loose, comfortable clothing, no shoes or socks are worn
