This class is appropriate for people with anxiety, stress, ‘monkey mind’ and poor sleep. You’ll practice postures that help you get out of the ‘fight and flight’ mode into the relaxation response. These postures will aid in the release and lengthening of muscles, before setting up in more restorative type postures. You will also learn breathing exercises to improve flow of oxygen in your body along with a guided meditation. A yoga mat and other props will be provided.
Requirement: You must be able to get up and off the floor without assistance.
Attire: Loose, comfortable clothing, no shoes or socks are worn
