Updates in Management of Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis

In this free virtual session, experts from the Columbia New York Presbyterian Cancer Center will provide updates of management of patients with diagnosis and management of patients with Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis. Experts will discuss clinical scenarios, prognosis and standards of care and discuss new developments in the treatment for these disorders.

Target Audience: Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, Cardiologists, Nephrologists, NP’s, Nurses, Residents and Fellows and Allied Health Workers

Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
1. Discuss treatments and identify various options for treatment of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma and stem cell transplant eligibility
2. Discuss the role of maintenance therapy in multiple myeloma
3. Describe new developments in treatment of relapsed multiple myeloma such as use of immunotherapy and cellular therapies
4. Prognostication of patients with AL Amyloidosis and new developments in immunotherapy as well as targeted agents in AL amyloidosis
