Stop the Bleed Virtual Courses

STOP THE BLEED® is a grassroots national awareness campaign and call-to-action. We encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

No matter how fast professional emergency responders arrive, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, so stopping blood loss quickly is crucial. Those nearest to someone with life-threatening injuries are best positioned to provide first care.

Description

The STOP THE BLEED® course can be taken virtually. As a reminder, participants must complete both the lecture AND the skills component of the STOP THE BLEED® course to be considered COMPLETE and to receive a certificate of completion.

You will be able to set up a Skills Session with the Trauma Team after you attend the course. We'll send you an email with instructions on how to sign up and get your certificate.
