About this Event
This is a 2 Part Workshop for Stop the Bleed. This first session is the the virtual lecture portion. The session is about 30 mins, and will provide attendees the opportunity to attend the in person Hands on Skill Training session which will provide attendees with Certificate of Completion.
Enrolling in a Stop the Bleed course is important because it teaches you life-saving skills to help someone who is bleeding heavily, which can happen in emergencies like accidents or natural disasters. The course covers simple techniques like applying pressure to wounds, using dressings, and even how to use a tourniquet.
By learning these skills, you can make a real difference in critical situations before professional help arrives. It empowers you to take action confidently, potentially saving a life. Plus, it's a valuable skill not just for medical professionals, but for anyone—friends, family, and even bystanders. In short, taking a Stop the Bleed course equips you with the knowledge to help in emergencies, making your community safer.
