In this free virtual session, experts from the Columbia Pancreas Center will provide updates on new treatments for patients with pancreas cancer. Over the course of the session, presenters will share best practices from Columbia’s renowned, multidisciplinary pancreas cancer team to maximize treatment outcomes while sparing toxicity, as well as exciting new therapies in pancreas cancer on the horizon.
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
• Recognize the growing role of neoadjuvant treatment in pancreas cancer.
• Discuss the evolution of radiotherapy techniques to treat pancreas cancer
• Discuss surgical management options for patients with borderline resectable and locally advanced pancreatic cancer
Target audience: Regional and national gastrointestinal medical oncologists, surgeons and radiation oncologists, residents, fellows, and other oncology providers, as well as patients and pancreatic cancer advocacy groups.
