Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) with Dr. Abdullah and Beth McDonald, RD

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition in which there is overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine leading to bloating, abdominal discomfort, gas, diarrhea/constipation, fatigue, and difficulty tolerating many everyday foods. During this group visit an Integrative Physician and Integrative Nutritionist will walk you through our comprehensive approach to help you heal from SIBO. During this 50-minute group visit you will learn about:

 

  • What is SIBO? What are the different symptoms?
  • Identifying the root causes of SIBO
  • Review of testing options and what results mean
  • Treatment options: conventional antibiotic treatment versus evidence-based use of herbal supplements
