Mindfulness Retreat Online

Join us for a half day of mindfulness meditation practice. This is a time to calm your mind, care for your body and your heart, and deepen your practice with a meditation community. We will explore practices such as: mindfulness of breath, gentle stretching/yoga, body scan, mindful walking, mindful eating, and lovingkindness meditation. At the end of the retreat there will be time to share your experience and ask questions.

This retreat is best suited for those with some previous experience with mindfulness or meditation. If you are brand new to meditation/mindfulness or you have any questions about the retreat please contact the instructor: emh4001@med.cornell.edu.

What you need for this retreat:

  • A working internet connection
  • Zoom app installed (computer if possible)
  • A comfortable seat for meditation 
  • A private space in your home (if possible)
  • A small, simple snack such as dried fruit, nuts, etc for mindful eating practice
  • Yoga or exercise mat
  • Comfortable clothes that can allow for movement
  • Any other pillows, blankets, or props you need to be comfortable
  • Any other self-care items (water, tissues, etc)
