Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-Week Online Course with Mary Rothfusz, Mind-Body Instructor, Certified MBSR Teacher

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, with kindness towards our experience. The MBSR course was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in order to help patients with chronic pain and illness work with stress and stressrelated symptoms.

The course teaches several forms of mindfulness and meditation practices, emphasizing ways of integrating mindfulness into daily life in order to reduce stress and improve wellbeing. MBSR has been shown to improve anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, pain, physiological and cognitive manifestations of stress, and more.


Course Dates

Mandatory Orientation: Thursday August 25th 6-8pm 

Thursday evenings 6-8:30pm: 9/1, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20

Practice Day: Saturday October 1st 9am-4pm


Fee Self-pay $400 or can be billed to insurance as 8 physician visits. Check insurance coverage, call the Integrative Health office for more information
