Caring for oncology patients has become increasingly complex, with patient outcomes being a top priority. Healthcare providers must effectively manage urgent and emergent oncologic situations. There is a pressing need for avenues to provide staff training in these circumstances. Early detection, prompt assessment, and treatment can significantly improve the chances of survival for patients experiencing oncologic emergencies. 

This course will address the knowledge and skills required to care for patients at risk of and experiencing oncology emergencies. The course is complimentary for NYP staff.
