Living Well with and After Cancer: Michelle Loy, MD

Nutrition plays a key role throughout all stages of cancer treatment, recovery, and prevention. Learn the latest evidence-based medicine about the role of diet in optimizing outcomes from surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, and in the prevention of recurrence. Practical tips on choosing foods to improve quality of life by alleviating common symptoms including indigestion, anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia, pain, or cognitive dysfunction will be discussed. You will also learn about mindful, self-compassionate eating and optimal timing of nourishment for optimal outcomes, satiety, and pleasure.
