Integrative Approach to Treating Migraine Headaches

Research demonstrates that a multitude of personal and biologic factors are at play in the development of headaches and migraines. Integrative modalities such as acupuncture, meditation, and yoga, along with diet and stress management play an important role in creating a comprehensive treatment plan to address headaches.

Modalities such as acupuncture can be a safe, drug free addition to standard care with minimal risk of side effects. At Integrative Health and Well-being our team brings these holistic options under one roof. In this migraine and headache focused shared medical appointment you will learn about our evidence based treatment approach through lifestyle modifications, non-pharmacologic supplementation, acupuncture, mindfulness and meditation, that can complement conventional pharmacologic treatments for headaches and migraines.

This virtual group visit is offered by Dr Juveria Abdullah and Oleg Fabrikant, DAOM, LAc. Since this is a medical visit, it is covered by most insurances and you would be responsible for co-pays, deductibles etc. as you would for any in person physician visit.
