Head & Neck Cancer Treatment: Maximal Outcomes, Minimal Morbidity

In this session, attendees will hear from practitioners who treat unique populations of head and neck cancer patients. Over the course of the session, presenters will demonstrate why Columbia is uniquely positioned to maximize treatment outcomes, while sparing patients morbidity.

Target audience: Medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, NPs, PAs, and allied health workers in the CUMC and greater NYP network.

Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
• Describe four unique head and neck cancer populations
• Discuss how present-day treatment improves cancer outcomes while preserving form and function
• Refer patients to members of the Head and Neck Cancer and Dermatologic Oncology treatment team
