Genetic Testing for Rare Cancers: The Importance of Knowing Your Family History

As genetic testing is an often confusing and complicated time for patients, the 3-panel discussion and speaker session will help to educate and empower participants to be confident in advocating for genetic testing. In alignment with the Dan McMenamin Endowment (DME) mission, this event strives to foster cooperation among patients, physicians, and researchers by educating patients on the complexities of collaborative care and offering resources to guide the patient in making informed treatment decisions.
