About this Event
Live Virtual Class For Weill Cornell and Westchester Behavioral Campuses Only. (A self-paced learning activity will be made available to other campuses at a later date)
There is an opportunity to provide educational sessions for front-line registered professional nurses focused on health equity and the RN’s role in promoting equitable care in daily practice.
As the first to observe disparities in care or access, RNs are uniquely positioned to advocate for change. Nurses are among the most trusted professionals and can significantly influence patient engagement and outcomes. When empowered, they can identify patterns of inequity and champion policy or practice improvements to help close the gap.
This webinar will offer an overview of health equity and health literacy, and will highlight RN-driven projects that demonstrate meaningful impact in these areas.
