https://www.nyp.org/integrative-health-program/eventsNow offering group ear acupuncture sessions for all patients!
Auriculotherapy is a clinically recognized form of acupuncture that stimulates specific points on the external ear to address physical and emotional health conditions. Developed by Dr. Paul Nogier in the 1950s, this technique maps points on the ear to different parts of the body and organ systems.
This treatment may help with:
• Chronic pain
• Anxiety and depression
• Insomnia
• Alcoholism and substance use disorders
• PTSD and stress-related conditions
How it works:
Each patient will complete a one-on-one intake visit with Dr. Koers, where an individualized treatment plan will be developed. Eligible patients can then receive ear acupuncture in a calm group setting.
