Many people with psychiatric disorders have cognitive challenges that affect their ability to function in daily life and benefit from psychiatric interventions. This conference will provide a forum for academic researchers, clinicians, mental health care administrators, peer specialists, advocates, and students to learn about evidence-based cognitive health interventions.

Participants will acquire knowledge about different approaches to improving cognitive health, how cognitive difficulties can impact recovery, the factors that influence a positive response to cognitive remediation, and how to provide cognitive remediation to diverse populations. Participants will be able to attend plenary presentations which provide comprehensive overviews of clinically relevant research, research symposia which provide updates on recent or ongoing work in the field, and a poster session to highlight ongoing work. Live Q&A and panel discussions will focus on a specific topic in greater depth.

At the conclusion of the program, mental health professionals will be better able to:

• Identify the impact of having good cognitive health on daily life and on recovery across people of ranging age and psychiatric diagnoses

• Describe means of integrating treatments to address neuro- and social cognitive health in diverse practice settings

• Describe the role of lived experience perspectives in designing and implementing cognitive health services
