This symposium will provide physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with an update on the most current evaluation and treatment techniques for a variety of spinal disorders.

A multidisciplinary faculty will present on topics related to diagnostic, surgical, and conservative interventions for the adult spine population.

Speakers include leading spine providers in the fields of orthopedic and neurological surgery, physical medicine, pain psychology, and physical therapy. Case studies and clinical scenarios will be utilized in order to provide attendees with useful information that will enhance practice in clinical settings.

Upon completion of this session, participants should gain strategies to:

• Identify the advantages and disadvantages of current and evolving diagnostic and treatment techniques for individuals who present with pain and disability arising from spinal pathology.

• Integrate knowledge of current and evolving operative and non-operative techniques with clinical findings to facilitate optimal care and triage of patients with pain and disability arising from spinal pathology in a manner consistent with best practice.

• Enhance the use of best practice differential examination and treatment techniques for individuals with pain and disability arising from conditions that mimic spinal pathology.
