Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease within the past three years? The Parkinson’s Good Start Program, offered by the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, is a two-week educational series that will help you learn more about:

• What Parkinson's disease (PD) is

• Treatment options for PD

• The healthcare team for PD management

• The role of rehabilitation and exercise in PD management

• Medication management for optimum functioning

• Positive coping strategies in living with PD

• Supportive community resources

There is no cost to attend this program, but registration is required.
