An Integrative Approach to the Second Trimester of Pregnancy

The prenatal and perinatal periods can be precious and exciting seasons of life accompanied by significant physical and emotional transitions. This unique time of life offers an opportunity to optimize your health and prepare your baby for the very best start!

At Integrative Health and Wellbeing, we have cultivated a series of shared medical appointments beginning from Trimester 0 (Fertility/Preconception), continuing throughout pregnancy (Trimesters 1-3), as well as Postpartum (Trimester 4). 

This Trimester 2 session, presented by Dr. Michelle Loy and Dr. Jillian Cohen, will cover a range of topics:

  •  Evidence-based dietary patterns for optimal health
  • The best types of physical activity for pregnancy, including yoga 
  • Pelvic floor muscle training, prenatal massage therapy, and other support for common ailments such as lower back pain and pelvic girdle discomfort
  • Tips to balance your blood sugar and gestational diabetes
  • Childbirth classes 
  • Tips for combatting fatigue, heartburn, headaches, food aversions, cravings, leg cramps, colds, and mood swings

This session is best attended during pregnancy weeks 13 – 26. 

We accept most insurances. Your insurance may cover the 1-hour group session, but you may be responsible for a specialist co-payment per session. You will also be responsible if you have a deductible or co-insurance.
