A short course on myths and facts for new parents of kids with autism

Free seminar via live simulcast. 

This presentation will summarize some of the current ideas around the causes, diagnosis, treatments and services around autism, focused on professionals that help newly diagnosed children and their families.  It will be designed to cover those that have been highly visible by media sources, and clarify what is the truth vs. what has been exaggerated or misreported.  Professionals will be given specific take home messages on how to interpret findings and discoveries as well as resources to better decipher them.
