In these classes, you’ll learn about certain patterns caused by muscles that have become chronically tight.  These patterns can make daily movements difficult, cause pain in your body, and even affect your balance. Together, we will explore Hanna Somatic Exercises that can help you come out of pain and regain ease and joy in your movements. You’ll discover a way of using your brain to reset your muscles along with breathing practices that will help you to maintain a relaxed way of being.

You may join us for a single class or multiple classes. Each class is designed to address common complaints such as soreness in your neck and shoulders or pain in your low back. You will be provided with a written copy of the exercises we do together to assist you in continuing your practice.  Links to video and audio guides will also be provided for your convenience.

The movements we explore are often done lying on the floor and can also be done from a chair.  All you need is yourself. Hanna Somatic Education is a safe, gentle, and intuitive approach to relaxing tight and painful muscles.

The series is being co-presented by Bianca Lee, board certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine (NMM) and Lisa Tatham who is a certified Hanna Somatic Educator.

A series of classes to learn techniques that you can do to come out of pain, release stress and regain your freedom to move comfortably.
