The prenatal and perinatal periods can be exciting seasons of life, accompanied by significant physical and emotional transitions. This unique time offers an opportunity to optimize your health and prepare your baby for the very best start!

At Integrative Health and Wellbeing, we've cultivated a series of shared medical appointments beginning from Trimester 0 (Fertility/Preconception), continuing throughout pregnancy (Trimesters 1-3), as well as Postpartum (Trimester 4). 

The Trimester 1 session will cover a range of topics:

  • The best protein, fats, carbohydrates, and fiber sources for pregnancy; how to optimize your and your baby’s metabolic state, cognition, and nutrition
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine nutrition principles, resources, and recipes beneficial for pregnancy
  • The proper form of vitamins, minerals, and supportive supplements for various symptoms, deficiencies, and dietary patterns
  • Integrative approaches to common symptoms including nausea and constipation
  • The benefits of yoga, acupuncture, aromatherapy, stress management
  •  Lifestyle for optimal gestation 

This session is best attended up through pregnancy week 13. 

This group visit is offered by Dr. Jillian Cohen and Dr. Michelle Loy and is covered by most insurances. Participants are responsible for co-pays/deductibles as with any in-person physician visit.
