Thriving Through Plant-Based Living: Nourishing Your Body, Mind, and Soul

Featuring Chiti Parikh, M.D.

Thriving Through Plant-Based Living: Nourishing Your Body, Mind and Soul. An Evening with Joel Fuhrman, M.D., Chiti Parikh, M.D., and Marc S. Wood.

Do you eat to live, or live to eat? Either way, a plant-based diet can help you thrive by nourishing your mind, body, and soul! Our country is plagued with heart disease, diabetes, auto-immune conditions, obesity and cancer, and these health issues touch all our lives in one way or another. Our esteemed panel of experts will discuss how a vegan diet, combined with exercise, and other integrative modalities such as yoga, meditation, and acupuncture can fuel a healthy, active, and vibrant lifestyle.

Thanks to the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund for their assistance organizing the evening.

Please note, the event is free, but advance registration is required and you'll need a photo ID for admittance. If you are registering a friend, don't use only your name. Please provide your friend's name. They must be on the list or else they won't get in.
