Sixth Annual Peter D. Stevens Course on Innovations in Digestive Care

The Sixth Annual Peter D. Stevens Course on Innovations in Digestive Care will be held April 27-29, 2017.  This course is jointly hosted by Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University, and is designated for ACCME credits by ASGE.

The annual educational cornerstone of the Society for Therapeutic and Surgical Endoscopy (S4TSE), this three-day course will inform participants of updates in innovations for the management of gastrointestinal diseases. The program will offer a forum to discuss optimal approaches between endoscopic and surgical management
in the setting of these new technologies and procedures. Internationally recognized faculty will address issues in current clinical practice, adverse events and pitfalls of newer technologies and the evolution of the field. Attendee participation and interaction will be emphasized and facilitated through Q&A sessions, live OR and interactive case presentations and hands-on tissue lab demonstrations.

  • Days 1 and 2 will include didactic and live case sessions on April 27 and 28 at Weill Cornell Medical Center (1300 York Avenue, New York, NY)
  • Day 3 includes a hands-on lab on April 29 at Columbia University Medical Center (650 W. 168th Street, New York, NY)
